Operation Identification is closely related to Neighborhood Watch and has existed for 30 years. It is supported by law enforcement nationwide in the U.S. and abroad. Police and communities work together to lend out engraving tools for people to mark their valuables through this free theft prevention and recovery program.

National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC): Famous for its famous dog's motto, "Take a Bite out of Crime," the National Crime Prevention Council is a national non-profit organization dedicated to educating individuals and communities about crime prevention.
